Introduction

I am delighted to express my interest in a editorial board position in your Journal. Presently, I am working as a Clinical Research Scientist and Lab Supervisor in the Molecular Division of OM Diagnostics, Boston, MA. In this role, I perform drug toxicology analysis using LC-MS and oversee molecular detection of various disease conditions.I earned my Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, specializing in neurotoxicology, cognition, and behavioral/molecular neuroscience. My doctoral research focused on evaluating the role of Curcumin supplementation on Arsenic trioxide-induced neurotoxicity in the basal ganglia of mice. I studied the combined effects of arsenic trioxide—a chemotherapeutic drug—and curcumin on cognitive function and neurochemical transmission. My work demonstrated that curcumin supplementation attenuates cognitive deficits, restores antioxidant balance, preserves striatal cytoarchitecture, and enhances neurotransmission in arsenic trioxide-exposed mice.My research interests include neurotoxicology, behavioral neuroscience, and multi-omics analysis. Currently, I am also engaged in meta-analysis of single-cell RNA-Seq data to further understand complex cellular mechanisms. I have extensive expertise in rodent behavioral experiments (motor and cognitive function tests such as Rota-rod, OFT, MWM, EPM, and NOR), molecular and biochemical assays (Western blotting, ELISA), and advanced imaging techniques including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.I am committed to advancing scientific rigor and innovation in forensic chemistry and toxicology, and I look forward to contributing meaningfully as a member of the editorial board.
