Introduction


I, Dr. Jagadamba Kunja, am presently working as an assistant professor at the Dept. Of Livestock Production Management, College of Veterinary Science, Garividi, Andhra Pradesh, under SVVU. I completed my B.V.Sc. graduation in 2006 and M.V.Sc. post-graduation in the discipline of Livestock Production Management in the year 2008 from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, and a Ph.D. in the discipline of Livestock Production Management from the College of Veterinary Science, Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad, PVNRTVU, Telangana, during 2013.

I have 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension activities and served as Mandal Animal Husbandry Officer at Nallajerla Mandal, West Godavari District, in the Animal Husbandry Department of Andhra Pradesh. Conducted animal health awareness programs and training programs for livestock farmers.

I acted as a Scientific Advisory Committee member at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, during the years 2017 to 2019.

I have also worked as the Principal of Animal Husbandry Polytechnic College for three years, during which I gained valuable experience in establishing the college across various aspects. I successfully set up fully equipped laboratories, prepared academic manuals for students, and developed a well-facilitated library to support quality education and practical learning.

I was worked as research internee of the CIRAD - ECLIPSE Project, France second phase research activity in P.V. NARASIMHA RAO TELANGANA VETERINARY UNIVERSITY, College of Veterinary Science, RajendraNagar, Hyderabad. Title of the work “Study on nutritional characteristics of pulse(legume) screenings (chunnies) using Near Infrared Spectrometry.’’ I am a Life member of Indian Society of Animal Production Management (ISAPM) and APVC member and Editorial board member of The Indian journal of Agriculture and business(IJAB).


Participated in various National conferences, symposiums and workshops on Animal Production and Management.
