Introduction


Dr Ishwer Tayal, MBBS, MD (Forensic Medicine), MBA (executive) –Disaster Management, has been working as Faculty (Currently as Associate Professor) of Forensic Medicine since 2012. He was awarded the Degree of Doctor of Forensic Medicine by the Baba Farid University of Health sciences, Faridkot, Punjab, India with Gold Medal for securing highest marks in Postgraduate University Examination. He has contributed 18 articles to professional Journals and presented papers in various national and international conferences.  He is Executive Member of Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine (ICFMT) and Toxicology and Member Editorial Board of Journal of Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (PAFMAT). He is life Member of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM). He has authored More than 3000 Autopsy Reports, >2500 Injury Reports including sexual assault cases, >100 age estimation reports on court orders in cases of Juveniles in conflict with Law and has vast experience of conducting enquiry into alleged Medical Negligence cases. He has deposited in more than 3000 different criminal and civil courts in state of Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand as Forensic Expert witness. He is among the first who pioneered in giving Medical Evidence using Interstate Videoconferencing facility of e-courts.
