I
am Dr. Bhagyalakshmi Jarsangi, working as an Assistant Professor at NTR College
of Veterinary Science, Gannavaram, Andhra Pradesh, India, with 14 years of
teaching and academic experience in Veterinary Anatomy. I obtained my Bachelor of
Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree in 2009 and
Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) degree in 2011 from the College of
Veterinary Science, Tirupati, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Andhra
Pradesh, India. I was awarded my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2021
from Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu Veterinary
and Animal Sciences University, Tamil Nadu, India. My academic and research
interests primarily focus on veterinary anatomical sciences, with particular
emphasis on the gross morphology, morphometry, histology, histochemistry,
immunohistochemistry, and ultrastructural characterization of various organs
and tissues in domestic and companion animals. My research experience encompasses
several important veterinary species, including cattle, buffaloes, sheep,
goats, dogs, and poultry. Through multidisciplinary anatomical investigations,
I had expertise in correlating structural, microscopic, histochemical,
immunohistochemical, and ultrastructural characteristics of organs with their
functional significance. In addition, I had teaching and research
responsibilities and actively involved in the peer-review process for some
scientific journals. I have a strong commitment to teaching, research, and
professional development and my goal is to establish a successful and impactful
academic career in the field of Veterinary Anatomy. I am particularly
interested in advancing knowledge, research capabilities, and technical skills
through interdisciplinary approaches and emerging methodologies in veterinary
and biomedical research. I published more than 25 research articles.
