Introduction


Prof.E.Lakshmi graduated from Queen Mary’s college,Chennai in 1986, post graduation in 1988, and masters in philosophy from Sri Avinashilingam Deemed university, Coimbatore in 1998, followed by an M.B.A from Madras University in 2004. Has completed course in Nursing, Mothercraft and First aid from St.John’s Ambulance and computer studies from COSTED Chennai. She is a member of IDA, Has presented papers in conferences and symposium, published articles in National and International journals, edited and contributed to significant publications. She is currently heading the department of Nutrition at SRM college of Nursing, SRM University,Tamil Nadu.
