She completed her graduation (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) and Post-graduation (M.V.Sc.  in Veterinary Pathology) with ICAR –JRF from College of Veterinary & Animal Science , Pantnagar . She completed her Ph.D. with ICAR-SRF from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Actively engaged in teaching of undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. students of Veterinary Pathology discipline and successfully guided eight MVSc (Master’s), as chairman of the advisory committee and 15 students (PG and Ph.D.) as member.  Published approx. 35 research papers of National and international repute, 02 Lab Manuals, 22 popular articles and 63 abstracts in different seminars/symposiums/conferences. Attended more than 50 National and InternationalTraining/Seminar/Conference/Symposium/Workshop/webinars with oral and poster presentations.  She is life member of number of societies viz. Indian Association of Veterinary Pathology (IAVP), Society of immunology and Immunopathology (SIIP), Society of Animal Reproduction, Asian Agri History Association. Registered member of Uttrakhand Veterinary Council/VCI. Reviewer/member of Editorial Board of Pantnagar Journals of Research. She has provided the prevalence data of different pathological conditions of animals and poultry of IDF and IPF respectively in Pantnagar. Diagnosis of diseases has been done on the basis of potmortem examination of animals and poultry and examination of morbid and biopsy samples from animals received from IDF, IPF, Vety. Clinics and other laboratories located in Uttrakhand. Studied effect of different pesticides in different doses in birds. Studied the effect of chemical industry effluent in mice and animals. Evaluation of Ameliorative effects of cow urine in pesticide intoxicated birds was also studied. Studied the effect of different doses of nanoparticles in health of poultry and rats. Evaluated the effects of different nanoparticles in health, haematology, renal functions, hepatic functions immune response and histopathological responses in poultry. Trial for in vitro study on the effects of nano particles has also been performed. Routinely performed postmortem examination and histopathological based research which is being published in various NAAS rating journals.
