Fakhar Alam was born in Guwahati and did his schooling from Kendriye Vidyalaya, KankarBagh, Patna, Bihar, India. He did his MBBS from Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati, Assam and passed MD(Forensic Medicine & Toxicology) from Jaipur. Rajasthan.He began his carrier as Tutor in Rama Medical College,Hapur.After that as AP then went to Narayan Medical College, Sasaram. From there to KMC, Katihar and later on was promoted to Associate Professor & Head. He is presently working as Professor at F.H. Medical College & Hospital, Agra. He has presented many papers and chaired sessions in national conferences, workshops and seminars. He has been external examiner for both UG & PG examination of various universities.He is an Editorial Board Member of American Journal of Biomedical and Life Sciences (AJBLS).He is one of the reviewer ofJournal of Forensic & Legal Medicine (JFLM) and I.P. Journal of Forensic Medicine & Toxicological Sciences (IPJFMTS).
