Introduction


Dr. Jitendra Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University. He has done his MBBS (2007 Batch) from Darbhanga Medical College, Darbhanga and MD (2015-18) in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He did his Senior Residency from Maulana Azad Medical College & Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences & RML Hospital, New Delhi. He has presented and published various papers on National and International platforms. He has also availed a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from the National Board of Examination in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, apart from a post-graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR). He has been a member of various national and international Forensic and Medical associations, including a Member of the National Association of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). He has more than five years of teaching experience in renowned medical colleges of India. He has vast experience in Medico-legal works in India, and his thrust area of academics is Medico-legal Autopsy, Medical Genetics, Medical Jurisprudence, Medical Ethics and Etiquette, Forensic Psychiatry, Neuropathology and Neuro-Imaging Diagnosis, and Toxicology.
