Introduction
Dr. Deep Narayan Singh has
presently working as Associate Professor & Head, Department of Livestock
Production Management, Bihar Veterinary College, Bihar Animal Sciences
University, Patna. Dr. Singh has Graduated (B.V.Sc. & AH) from College of
Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, ANDUAT, Kumarganj, Ayodhya in 2005,
Post Graduated (M.V.Sc) in discipline
Livestock Production Management from Veterinary College, Anand Agricultural University,
Anand (Gujarat) in 2007 and PhD in 2019 (In-service) from College of Veterinary
Science & Animal Husbandry, U.P. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa
Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya & Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan (DUVASU), Mathura,
Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Singh has vast experience in Teaching, Research,
Administration, Farm Management & Extension along with Treatment of
animals. Dr. Singh has worked as Assistant Director Extension, DUVASU, Mathura
and Assistant Professor in Department of Livestock Production Management,
College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, DUVASU, Mathura, Uttar
Pradesh (India) from 05th December 2011 to 05th April
2023. Dr. Singh have also worked in several position viz. Veterinary
Medical Officer in UP Animal Husbandry Department, Senior Research Fellow in
AICRP project, Veterinary Officer in PDCMPUL of GCMMF, Assistant Professor
(LPM) in Veterinary Colleges under the Rajasthan Veterinary & Animal
Sciences University, Bikaner (Rajasthan, India).
Dr. Singh has published
more than 50 research papers, 20 review articles and more than 100 popular
articles in various national & international journals. Dr. Singh has
published 03 book, presented 12 lead papers, 04 booklets, 8 Folders, 14
laboratory manuals, 20 training manuals. He has also worked as PI/Co-PI in
various extramural & intramural research projects. Dr. Singh has awarded
with Young Scientist Award, Dr. C. M.
Singh Award of Excellence, Best Teacher of the year Award, Dr. V. Kurien Award of Excellence, Research
Excellence Award, Yashashwi Samman Award, Dr. Bhagat Panda, Teacher Innovation
Award, B.V. Rao Poultry Professional
National Excellence, Prami Mitra Award and Best oral/poster Paper presentation
awards. Dr. Singh is a life member of several professional societies and member
of editorial board of various national & international journals. He has
also associated with Bureau of Indian
Standard (BIS) and other central level policy making bodies of government.
