Introduction


Dr. Bratati Banerjee is a distinguished medical professional with an impressive academic background. She holds multiple degrees, including MBBS, DPH, DNB, PGDH&HM, and MNAMS, and has completed a certificate course on Epidemiology of Non-Communicable Diseases as a Fellow of the WHO. Her extensive educational pursuits have been recognized with fellowships from IPHA and IAPSM.

With 27 years of teaching experience, Dr. Banerjee is currently serving as Director Professor of Community Medicine at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Her expertise spans Epidemiology, Maternal and Child Health, Management, and Operations Research. She is a sought-after expert for national organizations, universities, and medical colleges, contributing as a paper-setter, external examiner, and inspector of medical colleges and hospitals.

Dr. Banerjee has a remarkable research and publication record. She has completed eight research projects, with two ongoing projects funded by ICMR and WJCF. She serves on the editorial boards of several journals and has published over 100 journal articles, five textbooks, and numerous chapters in textbooks and educational materials. Her contributions have been recognized internationally, with her biography featured in the 'Marquis Who's Who in the World' for three consecutive years.
