Introduction


Dr. Anagha Krishnamoorthy is a postdoctoral researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. She has a bachelor's and master's degree in Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology from University of Madras, Tamil Nadu, India, and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal, India. She has over 8 years of experience in the field of plant and agricultural biotechnology, especially on plant-microbe interactions. She is currently working in the bioenergy sector for 3 years now. She has publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals, and is very passionate about research in the sustainable bioenergy realm.  She was also recently selected for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy I-Corps program to support commercialization of clean energy innovations. Her research interests include (1) Plant microbe interactions and development of bio-inoculants, (2) Biomass Conversion and Bioenergy, and (3) Production of biofuels and bioproducts from lignocellulosic biomasses.
