IntroductionI am currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Physiology at AIIMS Deoghar, has made remarkable contributions in academics, administration, and research. I am actively involved in undergraduate (MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing, and paramedical) teaching and examinations and has played a key role in academic coordination as the Physiology Coordinator for the MBBS students. I have contributed significantly to compiling and editing the MBBS practical manual and PG logbook and compiling the undergraduate curriculum.I am also serving as the Assistant Provost of the Girls’ Hostel and is an active member of multiple institutional committees, including the MBBS Admission Committee, Internal Committee (POSH), and Tender Evaluation Committee.I have guided an ICMR STS project (2022–23) and is Principal Investigator of two extramural projects — one focused on smartphone-based AI-assisted non-invasive anemia detection and another aimed at reducing morbidity in cancer patients through comprehensive pretreatment assessments. Additionally, I am leading two intramural projects on pediatric asthma and the effect of slow deep breathing on reaction time. My academic achievements include 13 published research articles and two book chapters.
With a keen interest in innovative teaching, I aspire to adopt active learning strategies to make Physiology more engaging and effective for students. I also aim to establish an Andrology Laboratory at AIIMS Deoghar to enhance patient care services and promote advanced clinical research in this specialized field.
