Introduction


I am Dr. Anamika Chauhan, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science at Chaman Lal Mahavidyalaya, Landhaura, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. With a strong academic background that includes a Ph.D., UGC-NET, USET, M.Phil., M.Ed., B.Ed., and multiple postgraduate degrees in English, Sociology, and Home Science, I have developed a multidisciplinary perspective in teaching and research. I bring over seven years of teaching experience and nine years of research experience, with a keen interest in nutrition, public health, gender studies, and sustainable food systems. My research work has been widely published in reputed national and international journals, including UGC CARE and Scopus-indexed platforms. I have also contributed to numerous books and book chapters, focusing on themes such as human health, nutraceuticals, education policy, and women’s empowerment.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Teacher’s Excellence Award, Young Scientist Award, Dr. Sarvepalli Radha krishnan Global Educator Award, and Teacher of the Year. I have also been recognized for my research contributions with the Excellence in Research Award. Beyond teaching and research, I actively contribute to curriculum development under NEP and serve as a Board of Studies (BOS) member in various universities. I am also the Coordinator of the IPR Cell at my institution and have organized and participated in several national seminars and workshops. My goal is to continue contributing to academia through innovative research, quality teaching, and impactful community engagement, particularly in the areas of nutrition, health, and women’s development
