It differs, as the distance that is to be traveled, the corporate culture builds up work pressure along with the career aspirations growing high. The competitiveness of the executive is measured by the time she/he spends in the work place. Demanding roles push the young executives to compromise on their time with family, health and diet. This paper intends to study the impact of corporate culture on young executives and their style to deal with the issues related to life style.

Over the years, behavioral scientist has noticed that some people have an intense desire to achieve something, while others may not seem that concerned about their achievements. This phenomenon has attracted a lot of have observed that people with a high level of achievement motivation exhibit certain characteristics. Achievement motivation is the tendency to endeavor for success and to choose goal oriented success or failure activities. In the present investigation the findings are locality, gender and residence have significant influence on the achievement motivation of IX class students.

Background: One of the common peripheral nerve disorders affecting joint mobility is diabetic Charcot neuroarthropathy which is caused by the chronic disabling painfulcomplication of diabetes termed as Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).Objective: To evaluate the impact and influence of joint mobility due to DPN and vice versa, by exploring evidence from published studies on joint mobility and its evaluation and management of DPN. Methods: A systematic review using search terms of ‘joint mobility’ and ‘diabetic neuropathy’ was performed in three databases- PubMed, CINAHL and Google scholar to identify relevant citations which were later scrutinized based upon their title, abstract and full-text to include for data extraction and descriptive synthesis into evaluation and interventions for joint mobility in DPN. Results: Of the total list of 26 included studies, there were 21 studies on evaluation of joint mobility in DPN- 10 studies that measured joint mobility (hand function=1, large joints mobility=1, physical examination=1, gait-related joint mobility=7), and 11 studies that related it with other measures/factors (calluses/deformities=1, foot ulceration=7, neurodynamic mechanosensitivity=1, passive ankle stiffness=1, plantar flexor stiffness=1) and there were five studies on interventions and their effects on joint mobility in DPN (Achilles tendon lengthening=1, MABAL shoe=1, total contact cast=1, weight-bearing exercise=1, combined exercises and functional training=1). Conclusion: Limited evidence existed for presence of reduced ankle dorsiflexion and great toe extension in people with DPN, which was demonstrated in gait-related functional kinematic alterations and would predispose the diabetic patient to develop foot ulcers due to alterations in plantar pressures during loading phase of gait. Insufficient evidence existed for special shoe/contact casting for neuropathic ulcer healing, tendo-achilles lengthening surgery and supervised weight-bearing exercise training for improving joint mobility and preventing ulceration in people with DPN.

Industrial and organizational psychology (also known as I-O psychology or work psychology) is the scientific study of employees, workplaces, and organizations. Industrial and organizational psychologists contribute to an organization’s success by improving the performance, satisfaction, and well-being of its employees. An I-O psychologist conducts research on employee behaviors and attitudes, and how these can be improved through hiring practices, training programs, feedback, and management systems. I-O psychologists also help organizations transition among periods of change and development. Industrial and organizational psychology is related to organizational behavior and human capital.  That’s why, it is very crucial for all to study the entire spectrum of human behavior and also the application or extension of psychological facts and principles to the problems concerning human beings who are operating within the context of business and industry.

Global trade in services is fast growing than trade in goods. Outsourcing of intermediate goods and business services are the most rapidly growing components of international trade. IT-BPO sector has become one of the most significant growth catalysts for the Indian economy. In addition to strengthening India’s economy, this industry is also positively influencing the lives of its people through an active direct and indirect contribution to the various socio-economic parameters such as employment, standard of living and diversity among others. Human resources are the drivers and principal value-creators of the output of this industry. Therefore, attracting, training, retaining and motivating employees are the critical success-determinants. However, retaining talented employees is a serious concern in knowledge based organizations. The present study aims at identifying the major dimensions of attrition in BPO industry in Kerala. A survey instrument was developed for the study to gather information from the respondent employees in Kerala. The population for this study comprised of employees working in various BPOs in Kerala. A sample size of 240 was chosen by simple random sampling method from 50 selected BPOs in the State and Exploratory Factor Analysis was used to extract dimensions of employee retention. Twenty five variables were identified and six dimensions were extracted to delve into probable causes of employee retention. The result showed job support & recognition and Compensation & Career growth as the most significant factors of retention of employees in BPO industry in Kerala.

Context: Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) has been the latest mantra in India today. A BPO work organization is “high-strain” due to the heavy workloads, tight rules and procedures, electronic monitoring and employees are given little or no autonomy.[1] Ultimately it creates physical, psychological and behavioral deviations among them. Repetitive tasks, such as responding to telephone calls more than 100 times a shifts have resulted in absenteeism and attrition among many young employees.[2]2 Aims: 1) To study the organizational commitment to work in business process outsourcing organization. 2) To find the association between income and educational qualification with attrition in BPO sector. Methods and Material: A Cross sectional study was undertaken among 90 BPOs in a private organization in Chennai. A standard pretested questionnaire was used to find the organizational commitment, relationship of attrition to qualification and income. Statistical Analysis Used: The data was analyzed using Microsoft excel and spss - version 17 Results: Almost two-fifth of the participants feel that they should move from the existing company. Only 38.9% felt to be part of the organization. Majority of the participants feel that company requires some change. It was estimated that statistically significant (p<.05) relationship exist between income and qualification of employees with attrition Conclusions: Employees of BPO sector were not satisfied with their work and their commitment to work was low. Attrition was related to the income and qualification of employees.

A robust banking and financial sector is critical to facilitate higher economic growth. Financial intermediaries like Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) constitute a significant element of the financial system that has penetrated into those areas where banks did not dare by taking both the operational and regulatory risks. Boom-Mushroom-Doom-Zoom, four words in a sequence tell the entire story of performance of NBFCs during the past one and a half decade. To give industry the much needed boost, service tax should be done away with. Special cells within the courts be set up to dispose cases because justice delayed is justice denied The non-banking financial sector is witnessing a consolidation process, with smaller NBFCs (deposit-taking) opting for either merger or closure and some larger ones getting converted into non-deposit- aking NBFCs. NBFCs are comfortably placed with higher capital. The financial performance of deposit- aking Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs-D) showed an improvement as reflected in the increase in their operating profits mainly emanating from growth in fund-based income. Systemically Important-Non- eposit taking NBFCs (NBFCs-ND-SI) segment continued to rely on bank finances for their resource requirement. There is sign of deterioration in the quality of assets in respect of NBFCs-ND-SI. The set of regulations prescribed for NBFCs sector expected to make the NBFCs more resilient in the medium term. The combined balance sheets of financial institutions (FIs) expanded and operating profit as well as net profit have increased significantly. The impaired assets of the FIs showed growth and are a matter of concern.
