Breast cancer is most common type of cancer found in women of developed countries. Early diagnosis of breast cancer is one of the best approaches to prevent this disease. A study was conducted to assess the knowledge on breast cancer risk factors among 50 women by using convenient sampling technique in selected hospital, Coimbatore. The women knowledge of breast cancer was assessed by structured questionnaire method. The finding of the study revealed that 34% of women had poor knowledge, 36% of women had fair knowledge and 30% of women had good knowledge on breast cancer risk factors.

This study entitled “study to assess the knowledge level on ill effects of air pollution among students in selected high schools at Salempur”submitted in the year 2024. Aims: The objectives are to assess the knowledge level on ill effects of air pollution among students in selected schools at Salempur; to determine the association between the knowledge with the socio demographic variables. Hypothesis: There is a significant association between the level of knowledge with socio demographic variables. Design and setting: Quantitative approach descriptive design was used. Total 30 students were selected from selected high schools at Salempur. Methods and materials: Convenient sampling technique was used to select 30 participants. Structured questionnaire was used to collect the data. The results of this study revealed that most of students 60% had moderate level of knowledge and 40% had adequate knowledge about air pollution and interestingly no students scored inadequate knowledge and concluded that, there is a need to motivate the students to spread awareness on air pollution and its ill effects and should change the behavior of people.

Infertility is a disease of the male or female reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse. Infertility affects millions of people and has a psychosocial impact. Infertility is often stressful for both individuals and couples, and it can cause significant strain in relationships between partners. Sometimes, these stresses can lead to symptoms of common mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. infertility counseling can be a helpful way to move through these challenges.

Reflexology, a type of complementary therapy, is receiving increased attention for its potential to address various health issues. With origins dating back to ancient civilizations like Egypt and China. Dr. William Fitzgerald expanded upon reflexology in the early 1900s, proposing that the body is divided into distinct zones. Applying pressure to specific points within these zones was believed to offer relief for several ailments.This narrative review endeavours to investigate the impact of reflex zone stimulation on improving postpartum comfort. By examining its historical origins, fundamental principles, recent research outcomes, and practical uses, it aims to uncover the potential advantages and significance of reflexology for maternal health and overall well-being during the postnatal period. A systematic search of electronic databases identified relevant literature focusing on reflexology interventions targeting postpartum comfort and well-being. Evidences suggest that reflexology emerges as a promising tool for promoting relaxation, alleviating physical discomforts, enhancing lactation, improving sleep quality, and addressing emotional concerns during the postpartum period. However, additional research is needed to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its therapeutic effects, establish standardized protocols, and ensure safety. Integrating reflexology into comprehensive postnatal care plans could offer holistic support for new mothers as they navigate the challenges of the postpartum period. Future directions include longitudinal studies, randomized controlled trials, qualitative research exploring patient experiences, interdisciplinary collaboration, and healthcare provider training in reflexology techniques. By addressing these future directions, we can further advance the integration of reflexology into mainstream postnatal care services and enhance the well-being of new mothers worldwide.
