According to the WHO It is not a help or our duty it is a human right of the lady or women, but according the many studies some of lady are not got Respectful Maternity care during that time due to that reason the mortality and morbidity rate is not reduce in rural areas and some urban areas also. So there is the need to take care of that ladies or women which is not got right treatment and Respectful care during labour or childbirth.

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is increasing in prevalence in tandem with the dramatic increase in the prevalence of overweight and obesity in women of childbearing age. The aim of the study is to assess the future plans and perception about profession among nursing students studying in Khalsa College of Nursing, Amritsar so as to determine the change in behavior and out look towards profession due to broader future prospective from past few years. In order to assess future plans and perception about profession among nursing students, a socio-demographic profile, a self-structured likert scale and a questionnaire was prepared. Study was conducted in Khalsa College of Nursing Amritsar (Punjab). By using convenient sampling technique and 100 nursing students were selected from Khalsa College of Nursing. The result showed that majority (53%) nursing students have desireto join nursing administration followed by (39%) will opt for teaching institutes and only (8%) will join bed side nursing. More over (81%) of Nursing students have plans to go Abroad while only (19%) wants to stay in their own nation

A descriptive study was conducted to assess the knowledge regarding human milk banking among women in selected hospital at Kottayam district with a view to develop an information leaflet. Convenient sampling technique was used to select samples from prenatal and postnatal mother’s and mothers of under five children. The study sample consists of 30 parents who came to the out patient department and by standers of admitted child who got admitted in wards of Little Lourdes Mission hospital. Data was collected using structured questionnaire to assess the knowledge regarding Human Milk Bank among women.

The result showed that among 30 samples 22 (73.3%) women had only average knowledge regarding human milk bank. Only 8 (26.66%) had good knowledge regarding human milk bank and nobody had poor knowledge regarding human milk bank. The study findings revealed that there are no significant association between knowledge regarding human milk bank and demographic variables such as age and education. There is association between knowledge regarding human milk bank and occupation.
