This is the case report of a man who is diagnosed with gastric carcinoma. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment helped the multidisciplinary team to great positive response from the patient. Nurses are the important person in health care of the patients in all aspects such as curative, preventive, rehabilitative to alleviate problems of patients. This nursing case reports will give understanding the approach of nursing care.

The Knee joint is constructed by connecting the femur bone with the tibia and patella and covered by synovial membrane. It has the synovial fluids which lubricates the joint for articulation and allows weight bearing. The knee joint can be affected by degenerative changes which causes pain, swelling and restricted movements.

The nurse assess the patient s’ functional health pattern to identify patients strengths in function and to determine if dysfunctional health patterns and/or potential dysfunctional pattern exist. A day’s functional health pattern results in nursing diagnoses and potential dysfunctional patterns identify risk conditions for problems.

Varicose veins are twisted, enlarged veins usually located on the lower extremities cause disfigurement and disability.The prevalence of varicose veins vary. Varicose veins in the lower limbs are estimated to affect at least a third of the population. The risksfactors are family history, obesity, older age, pregnancy, standing for long time. The pathophysiology involves a heredity factors, incompetentvalves, weakened vascular walls. Varicose vein management include conservative treatment include diet, lifestyle changes, and hydrotherapy which require a high degree of patient compliance to be helpful and interventional therapy, surgery. The option of therapy is affected by symptoms, patient preference, cost, potential complications. This review examines risk factors, symptoms, management (conservative and surgery) complication and prevention of varicose veins.

Only a doctor has to give information when a patient has to be discharged, inform the police officer/constable on duty in hospital and/or the CMO. After clearance from them, then only he/she can be discharged. The nurse follows all legal ethical issues. By applying the knowledge of legal responsibilities among nurses in health care system helps us in free from the medico legal problems also improve the standard of care and provide information to others in order find the offender by the other agencies.

Introduction: Respiratory distress constitutes the commonest cause of morbidity in newborn babies and also it is the leading cause of nursery admissions as well as death. The primary purpose of this study is to assess the effect of classical music therapy on respiratory distress status among preterm neonates. Methods: The research approach of the study was Quasi experimental with time series design. Classical music (Instrumental Flute) was played for preterm neonates with MP3 player for a total duration of 30 minutes at 20 to 30dBSPL. Respiratory distress were assessed by Downe’s Score, recorded at 5 minute intervals during the therapy period and for the pre music and after music therapy period, the time intervals were 2.5 minutes. The study duration was 60 minutes, 15 minutes before music therapy (BMT), 30 minutes of music therapy (DMT) and 15 minutes after music therapy (AMT). 50 preterm neonates admitted in newborn nursery were selected by convenient sampling and studied for 4 consecutive days. Day 1 and 3 for music therapy (experimental group) and day 2 and 4 as control group when no music was played through headphone. Here the subjects act as control group on alternate days. Results: On experimental day 1 and day 3, the respiratory distress were reduced from moderate to mild state during therapy and was maintained for a short period after music therapy (U= 5.41 (DMT), U= 5.27 (AMT) P= <0.001and on control group no statistical significance were found (P= >0.05). Conclusion: Listening to classical music therapy was associated with a significant (P<0.001) reductions of respiratory distress in preterm neonates. These effects appear to persist beyond the music therapy for a short period and may play a useful role to achieve relaxation for babies in NICU.

Menopause is one of the most significant events in a woman’s life and brings in a number of physiological changes that affect the life of a woman permanently. There have been a lot of speculations about the symptoms that appear before, during and after the onset of menopause. Women knowledge regarding menopausal, Perimenopausal Syndrome and postmenopausal syndrome and Its Management need to be essential. The descriptive study with a sample of 30 postmenopausal women was conducted by using structured Questionery. The study result showed that women have inadequate knowledge on syndrome and its management and few demographic variables showed association with level of knowledge.

Chronic kidney failure is worldwide health problem. Haemodialysis is a lifesaving therapy. The main objective of study wasto identifies the adherence to instructions for care at home given by staff nurses among clients on haemodialysis. 50 samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by interview schedule. The data showed that clients on haemodialysis had moderate adherence to instructions for care home given by staff nurses.

Introduction: Children is the beauty of life where each one of us can see himself in different way through his or her son, and because of them parents starts to work, earn money, keep promises, build a home, construct great city finally willingly they may leave all of that to give them the chance. Fertility is assumed to be a basic human right and parenthood is a necessary development milestone. People with fertility problems can experience a wide range of emotions from mild disappointment to emotional devastation. When a male partner encounter a barrier for having a child, which is linked with fertility problems, the distressful, anxious and psychological stressful conditions may arise due to social stigma. After this, they may look for alternative patterns for the purpose of having children (ÜNER, 2004). It is a growing problem and across virtually all cultures and societies almost all over the World and affects an estimated 10%15% of couples of reproductive age (Thorn & Thorn, 2010). Male and female factors are each believed to account for 40% of cases of infertility; the remaining 20% are either unexplained so called idiopathic infertility or of shared etiology (Fisher, 2009). Method: The goal of the present study was to assess the level of stress among men with infertility in selected villages Lucknow. Quantitative approach, non experimental descriptive research design was used for the study. The main study was conducted with 15 samples using non probability purposive convenience sampling technique. Data collection was done for a period of 10 days by using structured fertility problem inventory. Result: So in this study it was found that the overall mean score of infertile men was 61.07 with standard deviation of 8.21 while the mean score of men with primary infertility and secondary infertility was 59.5 and 62.1 respectively and standard deviation are 5.54 and 9.78. Discussion: It is inferred that the males with infertility are having mild level of stress. Analysis of the study identified level of stress among males with primary and secondary infertility. The study findings reveal the presence mild of level of stress among men with primary and secondary infertility in selected village Lucknow. None of them are having severe level of stress. One subject has no stress. Mean of both primary and secondary infertility men combined and separated shows mild level of stress only.

Background: Stress has become serious concern in the present time. Stress is nursing education is acknowledged as one of the most important issues in the modern world. Coping is the process of the managing demands that are appraised as taxing or exceeding resource of the person. Objectives: (1) To identify the level of stress among 1st Year BSc. Nursing students. (2)To assess the factors affecting stress among 1st Year BSc. Nursing students (3)To identify the coping strategies adopted by 1stYear BSc Nursing students (4)To associate level of stress and coping strategies with selected sociodemographic variables. (5) To correlate level of stress and coping strategies among 1st year BSc. Nursing students. Material and Methods:A NonExperimental, Descriptive exploratory survey approach was used for the study. Data was collected from 81, 1st year B.Sc. Nursing students who were studying in selected nursing colleges at Rajasthan. Non probability purposive sampling technique was used for selecting the samples. Standardized “Perceived stress scale” and “Coping behavior inventory” adopted by Sheu et al (2002) was used for collecting the data. Results: Majority (76.54%) of students were having mild stress. Highest mean score (5.53±2.09) which is (46.08%) of total score was obtained in the area of stress from the environment which falls in the category of mild stress. Majority (66.66%) of students were having moderate coping strategies. Therewas significant association between number of siblings and level of stress (15.68, P<0.05). There was highly significant association between sex and level of stress (11.79, P<0.05).Thereis moderately positive correlation (r = 0.32) between level of stress and coping strategies. Conclusion: Stress in nursing students is an area of growing concern and it may result in physiological distress, physical complaints, behavior problems and poor academic performance. Coping with stress for student nurse is dynamic and maintenance of the individual integrity. The present study revealed that students have mild level of stress and have moderate coping strategies.
