 This is the case report of a man who suffered from various problems; were eventually identified as features of Behcet’s syndrome, which is uncommon in the clinical settings. Besides the known clinical symptoms of the disease, this patient has suffered intermittently from dysmenorrhoea and abdominal pain, which may well be features of this disorder which have not previously been documented. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment helped the multidisciplinary team to get positive response from the patient.

 Fertility yoga uses a specific series of stretches that have a positive effect on reproductive health. Many number of yoga poses are there which a person can perform. Each yoga pose helps not only to strengthen the body and mind but can help to regain balance in the body as well. Yoga has many other benefits like flexibility and toning, including improving fertility. Yoga helps a woman for pregnancy and get pregnant. Eight best fertility yoga are Alternate nostril breathing (NadiShodhan pranayama), Bee breath (Bhramari pranayama), Seated forward bend (Paschimottanasana), Standing forward bend (Hastapadasana), One-legged forward bend (Janushirshasana), Butterfly pose (Baddhakonasana), Legs up the wall pose (Viparita Karani) and Yogic sleep (Yoga Nidra). Fertility yoga can help with fertility issues all by itself, it is best used in conjunction with other fertility treatment programs.

 Nursing assessment is one the important and needed skill for each nurse. In this assessment the assessment of critical ill patients with trauma, head injury and the altered level of consciousness is the critical to assess.  Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression and other disorders. RTMS therapy is primarily indicated for major depression, seasonal depression, psychosis and patients who have not responded to antidepressant medications whereas contraindicated in pregnancy and cardiovascular disorders. Short electromagnetic pulses are administered through the coil which stimulates the neurotransmitter activity in specific areas of the brain. Unlike ECT, the side effects are minimal in RTMS. Though RTMS is a medical procedure, the role of the nurse in assisting the therapist as well as the patient in pre, intra and post procedure has vital importance.

Introduction: Stress and anxiety in children and teenagers are just as prevalent as in adults. Stressed out and negligent parents, high expectations in academic or other performances, abused or deprived childhood, growing up tensions and demand for domestic responsibility are the main causes of childhood and teen stress. Parents, who are not emotionally available for their children or lack of positive coping mechanisms themselves often, spur stress in their offspring. Stressed children show signs of emotional disabilities, aggressive behavior, shyness, social phobia and often lack interest in otherwise enjoyable activities. Method: a quantitative approach pre experimental the one group pre-test and post-test design was adopted to assess the effectiveness of structured-teaching programme on stress reduction techniques among adolescent girls aged 15 - 18 years. The General System Theory was adopted for conceptual frame work. A total of 60 adolescent girls staying in the Nandhanar girl’s hostel were selected by using simple random sampling techniques. The instrument used for the study was a structured-questionnaire which consists of two sections. The first section consists of the demographic variables of the adolescent girls and the second section consists of 50 closedended questions to assess the knowledge regarding stress-reduction techniques. The structuredteaching programme on stress-reduction techniques was provided through Lap top for a period of 30 minutes. A post-test was given after 7 days. The data were analyzed using the descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: The knowledge score of the adolescent girls was inadequate before STP. After the LCD teaching programme 18.33% had moderately adequate knowledge and 81.67% had adequate knowledge. The effectiveness of LCD teaching programme was statistically tested by paired‘t’ value and the result found to be significant at p<0.001 level. There was no significant relationship between demographic variables and pre-test knowledge of subjects on stress-reduction techniques. Conclusion: These result demonstrated that STP was effective in improving the knowledge on stress-reduction techniques among adolescent girls who are staying in the hostel.

 Globally 10-11 million under five deaths occur each year out of which around 60% are due to malnutrition. In India 2.5 million under fives die each year. By keeping this data in mind this study was conducted among preschool children who is already malnourished with various degree and a easily available protein rich diet like milk, egg and ground nut was supplemented for a period of 15 days to 10 malnourished children and result was found reliable. The protein diet supplementation improved anthropometry of the children. This study concludes that daily protein diet supplementations are having positive impact in improving the child from various degree of protein energy malnutrition.

 In the present quasi experimental study a research design was used to achieve the objectives of the study which was conducted in selected schools of pune city. The sample comprised of 60 people. A structured questionnaire knowledge regarding behavioural problem was prepared to study the sample. Descriptive and inferential statistics had been used to analyze the data obtained through interviews. This study in increasing the knowledge of teachers regarding behavioural problems.

 Stroke or cerebrovascular accidents remains to be one of the major health care problems around the World. Stroke is the second leading cause of death, responsible for 4.4 million (9%) of the total 50.5 million deaths each year. In developed countries, stroke is the first leading cause for disability, second leading cause of dementia and third leading cause of death. Stroke is also a predisposing factor for epilepsy, falls and depression in developed countries. Among stroke survivors 31% required assistance with self care, 20% require assistance with ambulation, 71% have some impairment in vocational abilities up to 7 years following the stroke and 16% are institutionalized. The objective of the study was to assess the knowledge and practice among the staff nurse regarding care of cerebrovascular accidents patients. The design adopted was an Exploratory descriptive design. Knowledge was assessed by using a structured questionnaire and check list to assess the practice of staff nurse regarding care of cerebrovascular accidents patients. The samples included in the study were 90. The result found for this study revealed that about 63.3%(57) of staff nurses had moderated knowledge wherease 23.33% of staff nurses had adequate knowledge. In practice 45.55% (41) staff nurses had moderate practice wherease 54.45%(49) staff nurses had adequate practice.The study reveals that the samples were having moderate knowledge and practice regarding care of cerebrovascular accident patients. So the researcher felt a need to develop an informational booklet regarding care of CVA patients.

 Background: In this modern society both men and women experience various patterns of stress. The stress is common among women irrespective of their nature of work (working outside or housewife), it is a known phenomena. The stress faced by married employed women commonly referred to as a dual stress has drawn the attention of the researchers. Most of the studies have been conducted to assess the level of stress in working women alone. There was very little effort to find out the stress level of housewives. Method: A quantitative approach, non experimental descriptive survey design was adopted. A total 100 homemakers were selected by using simple random sampling technique, the target populations were homemakers and the accessible populations were those who reside in Belgaum city. A self prepared tool were used to collect socio-demographic data, modified stress scale to assess the level of stress and a standardized scale (K Matheson and H Anisman’s Coping Scale) to assess the coping strategies of homemakers. The data was collected after getting consent from the homemakers. Survey techniques were adopted and self administered questionnaire was provided to each homemaker for the duration of 20-30 minutes. And data was compiled and tabulated for descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: Stress experienced by homemakers reveals that among hundred homemakers 35(35%) of them had mild stress, 61(61%) moderate stress whereas 4(04%) had severe stress level. Among hundred homemakers, 90 (90%) of them had moderate coping strategies and 10 (10%) of them had poor coping strategies. There is a positive correlation (r = 0.20) between level of stress and coping strategies of homemakers. The mean value of respondents on level of stress is 39.51 with standard deviation of 6.46 where as the mean value of respondents on coping strategies 27.47 with standard deviation of 4.92. Discussion: This present study is supported by other similar studies. Above statistical data showed that as the homemakers stress is in between mild and moderate level they have moderate coping strategies and they adjust to their stressful events. Conclusion: The overall findings of the study depicts that homemakers had moderate to severe stress and adapted moderate to poor coping strategies.

 A study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on the knowledge regarding side effects of chemotherapy and its coping strategies among the patients admitted in cancer units of selected hospitals, hubli, Karnataka. Totally 45 cancer patients who were undergoing chemotherapy are selected by non-probability purposive sampling technique. The knowledge was assessed by using structured interview schedule. The study results revealed that in the pretest 30(66.66%) had average knowledge & 8 (17.77%) had poor knowledge and 7 (15.66%) had good knowledge on the side effects of chemotherapy and its coping strategies. Whereas in the post test, 37 (83.33%) had good knowledge and 8 (17.77%) had average knowledge. The calculated paired‘t’ value (t cal = 20.866) is greater than the tabulated value (t tab = 1.960) at p<0.05 which reveals that there was a gain in knowledge after administration of STP. Probability values of X2 contingency table revealed that the gain in knowledge and socio demographic variables is independent. This means that gain in knowledge & practice scores has nothing to do with sociodemographic variables of patients with chemotherapy. The study findings concluded that planned teaching progamme on side effects of chemotherapy and its coping strategies is effective in improving the knowledge of patients.
