 End-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients generally suffer from lower physical activities, muscle performance, and quality of life (QOL) compared to healthy humans. Dialysis is a medical procedure in which the technique of molecular separation is used to remove metabolic waste products or toxic substances from the blood.  Patients who receive hemodialysis had limitations in a number of areas like vitality, physical activities and physical role limitations and assumed a significantly lower physical functioning when compared with that of general population. Intradiaylatic exercise interventions that are safe, and can be safely performed in the first 2 hours of dialysis without cardiac decompensation, theses exercises done in between the hemodialysis sessions while patients are connected to machine are called as Intradiaylatic exercises. Exercises provided during hemodialysis do not cost patients extra time and will be effective in decreasing the level of fatigue and increasing potential for performing their daily activities. Providing these exercises with dialysis will improve the effectiveness of dialysis and alleviates long term complications of the same.

 Water retention in a pregnant woman can mirror fetal hydropic changes. This clinical presentation has been named “mirror syndrome.” Awareness of the syndrome is important due to the associated fetal and maternal risks. Mirror Syndrome is a preeclamptic -like disease characterized by fetal or placental hydrops, maternal anemia, edema, hypertension, liver dysfunction, and poor fetal outcome.   It is called Mirror Syndrome because the maternal pathology mirrors that of the fetus. This is a rare condition whose etiology is not known. Mirror syndrome can lead to significant maternal and fetal complications.

 Hoarding Disorder (HD) is currently under consideration for inclusion as a distinct disorder in DSM-5. Hoarding is the persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions, regardless of their actual value. The behavior usually has deleterious effects such as emotional, physical, social, financial, and even legal for a hoarder and family members. For those who hoard, the quantity of their collected items sets them apart from other people. Hoarding can be related to compulsive buying (such as never passing up a bargain), the compulsive acquisition of free items (such as collecting flyers), or the compulsive search for perfect or unique items (which may not appear to others as unique, such as an old container). This article examines the etiology, characteristics, signs and symptoms, evaluation, and treatment of hoarding syndrome

 Movement a life came into existence its heading towards death but being busy with daily routines of life human mind tend to forget this ultimate reality of life. Still certain nuances act as sudden encounter with this forgotten truth and one of such kind is getting diagnosed with a deadly disease like cancer. The present study “A exploratory study to assess the relationship between cancer awareness and patient’s response to the cancer diagnosis among patients in selected hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab.” With given objectives:-1.To assess level of awareness among cancer patients. 2.To assess the effect of cancer awareness on patient’s response to the cancer diagnosis , which includes patient’s level of anxiety at the time of diagnosis disclosure & acceptance of the diagnosis is an effort to analyze effect of knowledge on response. The results revealed that 505 of the subject had average level of knowledge and those having average knowledge experience high level of anxiety as compare to others.

 Importance and role of stem cells in health industry is talk of the town now a days. But still many of our health care professionals lack in proper knowledge regarding its procedure and requirements. To explore this fact “An evaluatory study to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding umbilical cord tissue and umbilical cord blood banking among nursing professionals in Mohan Dai Oswal Hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab”. Quantitative approach and evaluator design has been chosen to conduct the study. A self structured tool was developed to collect data from subjects. Sample size N=30 which includes 17 clinical instructors and 13 Post Basic 1st Year students. Results revealed that pre test mean knowledge score was 15.5 (average knowledge). While post test mean knowledge score was 35.8 (excellent knowledge). On applying ANNOVA the difference between pre and post men knowledge score was found statistically significant at P< 0.001 level this depicts that the teaching was found to be highly effective. Further relationship between level of knowledge and selected variables was checked but no statistical significant relationship was found.
