Background: Chordoid glioma is a rare neoplasm. amsidered a low-grade neoplasm, due to its location in the hypothalamus and anterior third ventdcle, it presents a challenge for neurosurgeons to treat it adequately with a complete resection without significant postoperative morbidity and mortality. case Description:A 42 year dd male patient presented with a one year history of mayor depressive disorder with psy-chotic features assxiated with generalized tonic clonic seizures. Brain MRI with contrast revealed a suprawIlar mass ex-binding into the third ventricle. The mass was approached through an interhemispheric transcallosal transvertricular sibforniceal approache. Pathology revealed a Chordoid Glionsa. The patients had a complicated post operative period with development of diabetes insipidus followed by intractable hy-ponatremia and died from malignant train edenta.,Condusicms: Chordoid glioma is a tare neoplasms incorporated in 2000 into the World Health Crganization (WHO) classification. Due to its rarity it is seldom considered in the differential diagnosis of sr prasellar masses. Moreover its unusual presentation and difficult lora tion present a challenge for surgical and medical management.

 Angiolipomas are extremely rare tumors in the spinal canal with approximately 100 cases reported in the literature. Most commonly, these tumors involve the posterior epidural compartment in the mid-thoracic region. Intradural, intramedullary, intracranial, lumbar region, locally infiltrating, pediatric, and pregnancy-related presentations represent the most unusual and rarest reports. These tumors have not been entirely well characterized, but are histopathologically distinct from subcutaneous lipomas. The MRI imaging characteristics of angiolipomas are variable, but they usually present as hyperintense lesions on T1- and T2-weighted sequences, and show intense, homogeneous contrast enhancement with contrast-enhanced, fat-saturated, T1-weighted images. Complete surgical resection is curative, but not always achievable. These tumors are benign and carry an excellent prognosis; even with subtotal resection, residual tumor is seldom problematic. Second recurrence is a rare exception. We report a case of thoracic, extradural, spinal angiolipoma in a 40-year-old male with slowly progressive symptoms of myelopathy. This extremely rare diagnosis should be considered in the differential for spinal neoplasms.

 Abstract body: Diabetes is a global epidemic and one of the most leading complications of diabetes is peripheral neuropathy. Recent research and clinical practice focus is growing on symptomatic or painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (PDPN) due to the rising healthcare costs and impending disability. The objective of this review is to elaborate the clinical examination findings in symptomatic PDPN patients. The various clinical examination methods reported in MEDLINE, EMBASE, SCOPUS, Ovid, CINAHL and Google Scholar were searched independently and 66 suitable trials were identified. The selected studies are grouped under each of the clinical examination findings and are described under chief complaints, presenting history, subjective examination, objective examination, investigations and differential diagnosis in the review. Through a thorough history and subjective examination, identification of possible mechanism of neuropathic pain in these patients would facilitate focused objective examination that can again be confirmed using investigations. A proposed clinical decision-making algorithm is presented after this review to base treatment decisions from clinical findings. The clinical examination findings explained in this review would facilitate clinicians, researchers and stakeholders to understand the complex clinical presentation of symptomatic patients with painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy, and to develop better assessment methods in the future for earlier identification of such patients to initiate further management.
