Infantile Tremor syndrome is a peculiar condition most commonly seen in Indian subcontinent. Although the number of cases with this syndrome reduced in recent years, finding of additional features made us to present this series. Mean age of presentation is generally 11.2 months (range 6 to 18 months). The male to female ratio was 5: 6. There is no seasonal variation. Tremors, pigmentation, delayed milestones, pallor and hepatomegaly was present in all cases. The mean duration of tremor phase was 23.2days with range 5 to 44 days. There was no mortality  Our case is 1year infant admitted to us for bronchopneumonia with grade II malnutrition with tremors and peripheral smear showing anemia with CT finding of cortical atrophy.

Chiari malformation type-I (CM-I) is a congenital disorder characterized by caudal displacement of the cerebellar tonsils through the foramen magnum. It usually presents in the second or third decade of life; however, it may be incidentally found on magnetic resonance imaging done for other purposes. A previously asymptomatic Chiari malformation type-I can become symptomatic subsequent to a trivial cervical injury. We describe a case of an 11-year-old girl with near hanging injury where a Chiari malformation type-1 (CM-I) with syringomyelia was incidentally detected on neuroimaging. Despite a difficullt prolonged stay in the hospital, the patient showed a near normal neurological recovery. We emphasize the need for the physician to be sensitized to the potentially disastrous consequences of minor trauma in undetected or asymptomatic congenital spinal anomalies. With increasing detection of such disorders in younger age, the physician should be updated about the basic work-up and appropriate referrals in such cases.

This E addiction is a new concept in India but many poeple in our country already suffering from this type addiction. Goldberg for the first time used “Internet addiction disorder” term to identify the characteristics of individuals who use the Internet and show some problems of themselves (1).

The concept of addiction to mobile phone use was introduced at first by Bianchi and Phillips in 2005 (2)

According to National Family Health Survey (NFHS-III 2005-06) less than half of women get 3 or 3 plus ANC visits. Even today more than half of the total deliveries are done at home and among them about 50 % are not assisted by health personals. Because of this, there has been a higher rate of maternal morbidity and mortality. Present paper attempts to find the factors which influence the use of maternal health care services during antenatal period. The result reveals factors like caste, educational level, religion, wealth index, birth order, residence, maternal age and exposure to mass media are significant predictors in explaining ante-natal care.
