Abstract Dermatitis artefact is a rare psychocutaneous disorder. This disorder always mismatched with a diagnosis of a dermatological origin. But actually the patient with Dermatitis Artefacta needs psychiatric consultation in priority and rest all treatment is for symptomatic relief. A patient MS. Sarita came in mental hospital with multiple painful erythematous plaques on forehead with oozing of blood. (Name of Hospital and Patient has Changed to Maintain Confidentiality). Abstract Occupational safety is a very important issue at an individual, social and national level and this study is carried out to get a general outline of the perception & practices of safety measures among factory workers. A descriptive study was done among 124 factory workers with at least a year of experience. Data was collected using a Semi-structured questionnaire and analysed in MS-Excel. 95% of the workers have good knowledge about occupational safety measures. Since most of the workers had knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE), they were using PPE regularly. Relationship between level of education and practice of safety measures shows that all workers have good level of practice based on their education level. So these variables should be taken into consideration in any program promoting Occupational health and safety. Keywords: Perception; Occupational Safety Measures; Factory Workers.

Malnutrition is a serious problem in Chhattisgarh, afflicts 65% of children under 5 and causes over 50% of all deaths in this age group C. G. has succeeded in lowering the % of stunted and underweight children under the age of 5 year from 53%to 35% and from 53% to 39% respectively. The survey reveals that the number of wasted children in the state has increased from 24% to 32%. In C.G % of stunted and underweight children is high in the state capital Raipur and Chief minister’s constituency Rajnandgaon. In Raipur this% of 51.1% and 52.3% respectively and in Rajnandgaon it is 54% and 46.65 respectively. Malnutrition causes weaklings of children and an important cause of childhood morbidity and mortality. Also, it leads to permanent impairment of physical and mental growth of those who survive. Protein energy malnutrition is identified as a major health and nutrition problem in developing countries like India. Chhattisgarh is a developing state of India, where a large population belongs to lower socioeconomic status. In Bilaspur dist. 2/3rd population of urban area living in slum and variables like age, sex, religion, literacy status of parents and morbidity of the children are significantly associated with malnutritionwhich contributes to high child mortality in under privileged community.
