Cancer is most deadly disease worldwide and battling with cancer to improve the quality of life is really a
challenging one. Cancer patients experience psychological and emotional distress during their course of disease, hence
various treatment along with psychological counselling is done for better survival of the patient and one such field is
Psycho-Oncology. Here the patients and the care givers are counselled by the experts to overcome the stressful state
of the disease.
 

Abstract
Context: The application of composite resins has greatly increased due to their optimal physical, mechanical, and
aesthetic properties. Recently bulkfill composites are introduced which simplifies the restorative procedures and
saves time.
Aims: The aim of the present study is to evaluate and compare the depth of cure of resin-based composites
restorations: Sculptable bulk-fill composite Filtek Z250 Xt (3M, ESPE), Flowable bulk-fill composites G-ænial
Universal Flo (GC America) and Dual cure bulk fill Multi Core Flow (Ivoclar Vivadent).
Methods and Material: Thirty black opaque silicone hollow cylindrical molds were divided into 3 groups (n=10)
and bulk filled with each of the three composites and light cured for 20 s followed by 24 h storage in water. The
surface hardness was measured on the top and the bottom by recording Vickers hardness number by Vickers
hardness indenter.
 

Abstract
Background: To compare the effectiveness of braille text and audio tactile performance technique in improving
the oral hygiene among 10–17 year old visually impaired school children in Chennai city.
Materials and Methods: Baseline oral hygiene status was assessed among 112 children using Plaque Index and
Gingival Index. Oral health education was given to 56 children through Braille text and to 56 children through
Audio Tactile performance technique. Follow up plaque index and gingival index scores were evaluated after 3
months. Wilcoxon signed rank test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to assess inter and intra group differences.
