The present clinical study of 1 year duration was designed to evaluate the bleaching efficacy of 10% carbamide peroxide relative to 30% hydrogen peroxide and sodium perborate mixed with distilled water for intracoronal bleaching of endodontically treated mild to moderate discoloured teeth.

Concomitant presence of supernumerary teeth and partial anodontia is an uncommon condition. Its etiology is still obscure. Very few cases have been reported in the literature of this condition. Presented here is a rare case of simultaneous presence of supplemental supernumerary tooth and multiple missing teeth in both the arches in twelve year old girl child without any associated systemic condition or syndrome.

A Skeletal remain was found inside an automobile. All traditional identification features were destroyed. A positive identification was established by comparison of periapical x-rays of socket taken during life with the teeth of the deceased. The paper describes the problem, and the actual technique by which this case was solved.

Background PerioGlas is an alloplastic bone graft material which is used for the treatment of intrabony defects. Among the alloplastic synthetic bone grafts, bioactive glass is an osteoconductive and steostimulative graft material which enhances bone formation in regenerative procedures. Method Efficacy of bioactive glass (PerioGlas) was assessed in 30 patients for the treatment of periodontal osseous defects and was compared to open flap debridement alone. Results Statistically significant improvements were demonstrated at 6 months post treatment in all the parameters studied. Mean probing depth reduction, clinical attachment level, radiographic bone fill were 4.27mm, 5.87mm, 3.27mm respectively for test sites and 4.43mm, 5.67mm, 2.25mm respectively for control sites at 6 months. Conclusions The results of the present study show that bioactive glass improves the healing outcomes regarding probing depth reduction, osseous defect fill, and gain in clinical attachment.
