 A non healing ulcer occurs due to variable conditions like diabetes mellitus, varicose ulcer, and arterial ulcer, badly crush injuries, etc. The management of non healing ulcer is quite difficult task to the doctor and a terrifying for the suffering patient even many options are available. In Ayurveda, these non healing ulcers can be correlated with Dushta Vrana which is difficult to heal. Sushruta mentioned many formulations for healing of Dushta Vrana among them Yashtimadhu Ghrita (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) is one of the ghrita formulations. In this study, a male patient of 38 years, presented with a non healing ulcer at medial mallelous of right foot. The ulcer was developed due to post accidental wound debridement. The patient had taken treatment and local dressing with antiseptic from last one year without much improvement in wound. The routine laboratory investigations were within normal limit. The wound was treated with local application of Yashtimadhu Ghrita daily once followed by Manjisthadi Kwath (10 ml two times) and Rasayana Choorna (5 gm two times) orally. This case study showed wound healing activity Yashtimadhu Ghrita by local application.

Vitiligo is a cosmetic problem in most cases but the social stigma associated with this disease often demands an aggressive approach, depending on where the patches are. About 25% of those with vitiligo develop before the age of 10.Treatment with potent topical steroids which shows not so much result in repigmention. The vitiligo disease being correlated with shwitrain Ayurveda which presents on twakaas white patches which is because of involvement of saptakodravya in it, it is mainly kaphapradhanamedadhikhyavyadhi. Our Acharya have recommended several topical modalities along with shodhanaand internal medicines. One among them is virechana as a shodhana which is said to prime line of treatment in twakavikara & avalgungyadilepa externally. The same line of treatment followed in a 9 years old child.In span of one month pigmentation shown over the site. The same case presenting here.

 Chikungunya is an acute disease it is mean doubling up. Which results in fever, arthritis & skin rashes because of severe arthritic symptoms fever rises abruptly to 103-104F is accompanied by rigors joint pain appears suddenly & often very severe the arthritis mainly affects small joints of hands, wrist ankle feet & less involvement in larger joints the joint pain may continue for many months after illness. It can be nearly compared with the samasannipataja jwara the lakshana later stage of chickengunya is nearly compared with the aamavata lakshana which includes the shoola, shotha, ruja & raga over the sandhi along with the restricted range of motion in later condition pain will be like vrischikadamshavata the treatment modalities such as rksha swedana such as valuka swead even shodhana like vaitarana basti, kshara basti & virechana are also prime line of treatment along with topical application such as kumaribandha & parisheka helps in relieving the sotha & stabhata in these cases. A paediatric case of post chikungunya mimicking the lakshana of aamavata is being presented here.

Even today hair continues to be an important part of self expression and self identity and it is also a universals symbol of youth. As according to the day old adage: Too much of anything is fit for nothing. Unwanted hair growth (facial and body hair) can cause embarrassment, and it is a biggest problem for the women in the present day society. Most of the women are suffering with this problem due to trending reasons. The present life style of the people is effecting to its maximum on the health of the people. Women develop excessive body (or) facial hair due to higher than normal levels of male hormones. Certain medical conditions cause women to produce too many androgens, causing male pattern hair growth and unwanted male characteristics such as deep voice. Though this doesn’t cause any problem to the person but it effects the social moving, so most of the women are more worried about it and rush to Doctors, beauty parlors and other cosmetic and skin specialists. In view of the growing incidene of clinical conditions contributing to Hirsutism especially among younger generation girls and also feared side effects of the currently available depilatory agents in the market an attempt has been made in this article to enumerate lomasathana yogas described in Ayurvedic classics.

 Anal Incontinence (AI) is known as fecal incontinence, bowel incontinence or accidental bowel leakage (AI). It refers to involuntary passage of fecal matters and flatus due to lack of control over defecation leading to involuntary loss of bowel contents including flatus, liquid stool elements, mucus or solid feces. It can be identified as the recurrent inability to voluntary control of the passage of bowel contents through the anal canal and expel out it in time, at a socially acceptable location. It can be termed as Aniyantrita Guda (AG) in Ayurveda. It has been observed that the suffering patients may be feeling of too embarrassed situation to seek medical help and attempt to self manage the conditions in secrecy from others. This type of incontinence may be common and often produces debilitating condition in elderly patients. The various 7-D etiological factors are responsible for anal incontinence i.e. decent, destruction, debility, deficiency, damage, de-nervation, and dementia; but geriatric, traumatic and obstetric and mostly anal surgical procedures are responsible to damage of the sphincter mechanism. The clinical features are presented as the patients use to wear pad, requiring frequent changes throughout the day. They prefer to remain alone and stay at home in order to avoid embarrassment and avoid ancillary problems. The diagnosis is made by clinical factors with sphincter muscle test. Three types of treatment like Medical, Surgical and Para surgical are conducted. The management consists of conservative measures include diet, exercise, yoga, social behaviors, pharmacological agents and surgical approach. The innovative Para surgical PCA therapeutic treatments including intake of Rasayana and practice of Yoga with exercise provide good result. Under this therapy clinically successful result oriented Kshara or non Kshara content medicines as per need of cases are used which are having no adverse result. About 84 cases has been treated in the Center for Care of Ano Rectum Research by Indian System of Medicine and Allied (CCARRISMA) at Puri and Bhubaneswar. This clinical review aims to encourage and support the distressed patients and focus to lead a healthy life.

Bhramari Pranayama is a type of pranayama owing many beneficial effects on health. The present day, is in need of bhramari like yogic practices which soothens the mind and body as well. This article is a compilation and meta-analysis of various clinical studies conducted to prove the beneficial effects of Bhramari Pranayama on all the 5 dimensions of health.
