 Dystonia is used to describe sustained involuntary contraction that causes abnormal posture or movement. This may be generalized in various diseases of the basal ganglia. Based on the cause which is classified into primary & secondary. A  14 years old girl with moderate built  came with parents with the complaint of forward bending of the body ,Unable to stand without support since 15 month and Slurred speech since 15 days. The treatment given was Sarvanga abhyanga, Nadi sweda, Matra basti, Shamanoushadhi and after 15 days Mridu virechana was  adviced every alternate day along with  Shamanoushadhi. In subsequent follow ups the Shamanoushadhi were continued for 3 months by which there was change in posture, she could stand with support and improvement in speech is also seen.

 Vicharchika (Eczema) is one kind of skin disorder and hampers the quality of life of an individual. If eczema is at the working part particularly hands then it causes routine disturbances of work. In  Ayurveda Vicharchika is one kind of twaka vicar (skin disorder) and included in the broad heading Kushta. The management of Kushta is according to the types like  Shodhan and Shaman as prescribed by all acharyas. In this case report a 45 years male patient of eczema at fingers of  left hand since last 2 months visited Ayurved hospital for treatment. Patient had complaints of severe throbbing pain, watery discharge, itching and swelling of first, middle and ring fingers of left hand with superficial ulcerations. He had taken treatment for that from local doctor but did not have relief so he consulted to our hospital. The x-ray of affected hand shows mild infective changes with soft tissue swelling.  So this case was diagnosed as eczema with cellulitis at left hand and was treated successfully with powder of Securinega leucopyrus and sesame oil. Wound was cleaned with normal saline and then applied paste of S. leucopyrus  leaves powder mixed with sesame oil daily once in the morning. The swelling, eczema and ulcerations relieved completely within 15 days. So this case study highlighted that eczema with cellulitis can be treated with local application of S. leucopyrus paste.

 Indralupta one of the Sirorogas, is very often  seen in day to day practice. The disease being  asymptomatic is causing lots of mental agony to the patient. The disease being correlated with alopecia of modern dermatology presents with patchy hair loss. In Ayurveda Pitta and Vaata are  explained as main causes for the loss of hair and  Kapha or Kleda is another important cause can uses hindrances for the growth of new hair. 

Our Acharya’s have recommended several local modalities along with  internal medications.  One of such external modalities is pracchanna.

A female patient aged 35 yrs came with the complaints of multiple patches of hair loss on scalp since          1 & 1/2 yrs. In examination it was noted that the patches show very smooth and shiny skin. The patient was subjected to Pracchanna one time for each large patches and small patches very left without  pracchanna. 

In a span of one month all the patches showed complete re growth of hair. The paper explains in detail about the application of Pracchanna in Indralupta.

 Amaranthus  spinosus Linn.  (Family  Amaranthaceae),  a  very  common  Indian  plant  is  known  for  prickly amaranth, Spiny pigweed, in hindi Cauleyi, cholai, kanteli. its  medicinal properties and commonly known as cultivated throughout in India  and  warm  temperate  regions  of  Asia  from  Japan  to  Indonesia. It is erect spinous annual or perennial herb  varying  in  color  from  green  to  purple,  native  to  tropical  America.  In  Indian  traditional  system  of medicine  (Ayurveda)  the  plant  is  used  as  febrifuge,  antipyretic,  laxative  and  diuretic.  Besides  its culinary  value,  it  is  used  to  repute  for  treat  digestible,  bronchitis,  appetizer,  biliousness,  haematinic,  stomachic,  nausea,  flatulence,  anorexia,  blood  diseases,  burning sensation,  leucorrhoea,  leprosy  and  piles  The  studies  on  A.  spinosus have  been  carried  out  by various researchers and a wide spectrum of its pharmacological actions have been explored which may  include  antidiabetic,  antitumor,  analgesic,  antimicrobial,  anti-inflammatory,  spasmolytic, bronchodilator, hepato-protective, spermatogenic, antifertility, antimalarial, antioxidant properties, etc. The present review  is an effort to provide a comprehensive  review on  morphology, traditional uses, phytochemical constituents and pharmacological activities of A. Spinosus.

 Modern civilization has diseased the humans from mosquito coils and other environment particular matters. Acharya’s have explained that if human habitat is of vishakatvayu (also deshaetc) leads to pratishaya and shirorogas. Hence we like to deliberate that visha is one nidan for Pratishaya. AcharyaSushurta has very shrewdly explained in Kalpasthana that when person exposes vishavayu’s then he suffers from Akshiroga, pratishaya etc. Recent researchers have bridged the gap between gaseous toxins that cause respiratory allergic disorders. By these modern considerations and not deviating from basics of Ayurveda we can understand visha chikitsa is applicable to couple of modern day disorders.

 Danta is the one of the part of  Face which mainly helps in  charvanakriya (chewing).  So, it is necessary to keep themclean and healthy.  For maintains of hygienic condition of teeth, Danta Dhavana  karma (Brushing) is elaborately explained in Ayurvedic texts. Because of busy life style, improper brushing resulted in formation of Dantasharkara (Tartur). This Dantasharkara further becomes root cause of all periodontal diseases. Statistical data reveals that, Periodontal diseases affect million of people in the world.The symptoms of Periodontal disease start early age of life and cause theloss of teeth. The percentage of teeth loss was high in this compared to other dental diseases[3] hence, dantasharkara should be treated effectively. Different herbomineral Dantayoga preparations are available Rasa Shastra classics. The reference of Sphatika (Potash  alum) is seen  in various  Dantayogapreparations. Theses evidences provide a clue to take up an observational study to analyze efficacy of Spatikadi Yoga.th ingredients of Spatikadi Yogaare Spatika, Lavanga, Ela, Kandasharkar in equal quantity. The present paper focuses on the simpler, effective and economic management of Dantasharkara by Spatikadi Yoga an Ayurvedic classical preparation.
