Dr. Kaushal Chauhan working as Librarian at MDSD College, (Ambala City) Haryana, India since 24th January 2019. Prior to this assignment, she was associated with OP Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana as Deputy Manager in Global Library from 8th May 2017 to 24th January 2019. She was also associated as Librarian in MMEC, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Ambala, Haryana from 3rd June 2013 to 01 May 2017. She also worked in Karnal Institute of Tech. & Mgmt. (KITM), Karnal as a Librarian from 20th July 2011 to 20th May 2013.With over 15 years of professional working experience in the field, she has taken on numerous academic responsibilities in different Academic Institutions and Colleges in different Academic Universities, Institutions and Colleges. She has started her career as a Professional Trainee at Central Library, IIT Kharagpur from May 2005 to April 2006.
Furthermore in her professional career, she is the witnessed of many innovative library services. In her academic endeavors, she has authored two Books; Two Edited Books and One Edited Conference Volume. She published more than Eighty Research Papers in Journals, Conference Proceedings, Book Chapters in National and International repute. Few of her articles are also SCOPUS Indexed and having good Impact factors and have been published in other countries such as USA, Nigeria, Philippines, Pakistan etc.).
In addition to above in her academic repository, She has done Ph.D in Library Science and Information from Berhampur University, Orissa; M.Phil from Alagappa University, PGDLAN (Post Graduate Diploma in Library and Networking) from IGNOU, New Delhi, MLIB (Master degree in library and Information Science from MCRP University, Bhopal, BLIB (Bachelor Degree in Library Science) from DBRAU, Agra. She has also cleared UGC Net in Library and Information Science.  Besides this she has done MCA from MDU, Rohtak, MBA from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, M.A. (Eng.) and B.A. from CCS University, Meerut. 
She has presented more than Fifty Papers at National and International Conferences; one of her Research Paper was presented at International Conference at economics and business by EAFFASA held in Penang, Malaysia on September 2014.  She has organized various competitions, Conferences, Workshops, Webinar etc. Additionally, she is a member of editorial boards, and review committees of several academic journals.
Dr. Kaushal has been awarded with Indian Women Achiever Award-2021; Global Librarians Award-2021; Awarded as an active and commendable coordinator in National Poetry writing workshop, by Haryana Sahitya Academy; Awarded by “Bharat Vikash Parishad” on the occasion of Teachers Day Celebration; Awarded with “Nation Builder Award” from Rotary Club; Honour & Recognition of Outstanding Contribution” in Universu MM-2016 at MMU, Mullana; Award of Appreciation for propaganda of Yaga & Ayurveda by Patanjali Yog Samiti & Bharat Swabhiman Trust; Award of Appreciation during LIPS-2017by IISER, Mohali in association with SLA- Asian Chapter; Award of Appreciation by LPA, New Delhi at Manipal University, Jaipur in 2015 and at PKDIMS, Kerala in 2016.Apart from it she is having good knowledge of some library software's as like KOHA, LIBSYS, DELSOFT, SOUL, ERP etc. For Professional Networking she is Life member of ILA, IASLIC, HLA, LPA, SRFLIS and SIRs etc.
