Abstract Acute respiratory infections (ARIs) are the main reason of death among kids less than five years in India. Emergence of more modern pathogenic organisms, reemergence of ailment previously managed, huge spread antibiotic resistance, and suboptimal immunization coverage even after many innovative efforts are major factors responsible for excessive incidence of ARI.
