Electrical burns are a commonly encountered emergency more often seen in males, especially near major industries. Contact electrical burns can cause external skin injury and also affect the internal organs. They lead to various complications that involve nervous system, cardiovascular system and musculoskeletal system. They are known to cause brain haemorrhage, brain infarct, neuropathy, cardiac arrythmias, rhabdomyolysis, soft tissue injuries. This case report describes a case of frontal cerebral infarct in electrical injury

Background: Parkinson’s disease is a chronic progressive disease of the nervous system characterized by the cardinal features of rigidity, bradykinesia, tremor and postural instability.In Parkinson’s disease every year there are less than 10 new cases per 100000 under age of 50.while there are at least 300 new cases per 100000 ages 80 to 99 years annually.Pulmonary complications associated with Parkinson’s diseases a common reason for hospital
admission 35.8% reported shortness of breath on exertion, 17.9% reported cough, 13% reported sputum production. Pulmonary function test is mainly used to check the lung function capacity in Parkinson’s patients. In Parkinson’s patients due to forward head stoop posture there is decrease in lung function capacity. In Parkinson’s disease morbidity and mortality are commonly caused by respiratory disorders from pulmonary function impairments.
Aims: The study aim is to find out pulmonary function capacity in Parkinson’s disorder patients.Objective: (1) To check FVC in Parkinson’s disorder patients. (2) To check FEV1 in Parkinson’s disorder patients. (3) To check FEV1/FVC ratio in Parkinson’s disorder patients.Method: Pulmonary function test was conducted using PFT software and PFT probe (HELIOS-401) and results of FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC ratio were obtained from Parkinson’s
disease patients.Result: The data was assessed using PFT; the study showed that there has been a significant reduction in lung function capacity of the Parkinson’s disorder patients. Conclusion: In the present study we concluded that the lung function capacity of Parkinson’s disorder patients was very low compared to that of normal individuals.

Society for Wound Care and Research (SWCR) was founded with the aim of promoting practice of better wound care and research. The society carries out academic, clinical, research and social activities in a calculated manner aimed at improving wound healing. SWCR guidelines has four components with the acronym SWCR where S stands for systematic analysis of patient and wound, W for wound bed preparation, C for clinical decisions and R for repair, reconstruct & rehabilitate. Electrical burn wound to the scalp which causing the deep thermal burns may cause injury to all layers of scalp including bone which can create a raw area of the scalp with exposed skull bone which is difficult to reconstruct as the bone was exposed without periosteum. The bone without periosteum will not usually granulate. In our case we used regenerative techniques for exposed bone in scalp wound bed preparation for granulation followed by flap cover. We will discuss about the role of SWCR guidelines in the management of scalp electrical burn.
