Ingredients of DVA were procured, authenticated and prepared in classical way by giving bhavana with the qwath prepared by same ingredients of Agada and consequently analysed for Organoleptic, physical characteristics, physiochemical, phytochemical screening, TLC and HPTLC was done for standardization. The phytochemical constituents found to be present in the finished product will possibly facilitate for understanding mechanisms of pharmacological action.
