used for demographic data, pre and post-test scores. Inferential statistics of chi-square test was used for analyzing the association between demographic characteristics with that of knowledge, paired t-test was used for analyzing the difference between the pre and post test. The average pre-test knowledge score among mothers found to be 10.320 after STP The mean post-test knowledge score was 13.260. thus the difference in level of the knowledge was confirmed by the obtained t test value (8.228) this was statistically significant (p<0.01). Conclusion: The study concluded that the structured teaching programme was effective in improving knowledge of mothers on interventions of Burns and Scalds wound healing.
