AbstractIn this review article the conducting polymer nanocomposites are highlighted as innovative material for the treatment against bacteria, fungi, microbes, etc. Conducting polymer nanocomposites have received a high interest due to the combination of unique properties of organic and inorganic components in one material which have been studied extensively by the scientific community for its antimicrobial properties. The present study investigates the antimicrobial activity of conducting polymer nanocomposites against the species such as S.aureus, P.aeruginosa, E.coli and its zone of inhibition, minimum inhibition concentration were reported. So an attempt was taken to establish the consolidated review on the significance of nanocomposite and its antimicrobial activities.
