Abstract

Crop growth simulation model is an efficient tool to predict the growth and yield of a crop. The modelsare good to simulate the effect of various crop management factors to obtain quick results and increase the efficiency of agronomic experiments in climate change conditions. The model has also been used for climate change impact on the soil N losses, like denitrification, volatilization, N2O emission increased. This paper discusses the importance of crop growth simulation models applications and their future projections under changing climatic scenarios.

Keywords: Volatilization; Agronomic Experiments; Phenological Development; Phenophase.
