Abstract

IASP defines pain as “an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage or described in terms of the actual damage.” This definition embraces various concepts especially the subjectivity of the symptoms which is the basis of the non-pharmacologicaloptions in the treatment of labour pain. We conducted this study to compare the efficacy of the equipotent 0.125% Bupivacaine and 0.2% Ropivacaine in labour.
