Abstract

Abstract The main motto of the Mana Badi Nadu Nedu program is to develop the education system of Andhra Pradesh as the literacy rate of Andhra Pradeshpeopleis less than 50%according to 2011 census. Honorable chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has shown immense interest in education sector. So, the Chief Minister launched “Nadu-Nedu” program which has main focus on transforming government schools in to reliable educational institutions. One of the main objectives of the scheme is to change the future of education for poor and middle class people. This will surely provide financially weaker sections of society with better opportunities. Results of Mana Badi Nadu Nedu program will encourage more parents to join their children in government schools. Since the start of the scheme, many schools have been provided with good infrastructure, washrooms, etc. In the coming years, the impact of Mana Badi program will be reflected in the literacy rate of Andhra Pradesh.
