Abstract

The incidence of solitary thyroid lesions is more common nowadays. There is a chance of an increase in the malignancy rate, especially in solitary nodules. Always there will be diagnostic dilemmas in differentiating benign and malignant lesions. Our study mainly focused to find the expression of galectin 3 in the differential diagnosis of solitary thyroid lesions in a tertiary care hospital for a period of 2 years.
