Abstract A prospective study of 83 cases of head injury with fracture temporal bone in soldiers over a period of 5 years was done to analyse and elucidate the otologic involvement in these cases. The aim of this paper is to study the prevalence of hearing loss in soldiers following posttraumatic temporal bone fractures and the importance of appropriate investigations and intervention in these patients.
