Abstract Primary oral malignant melanoma is a rare neoplasm of oral cavity accounting for 0.5% of all oral malignancies. The etiology of malignant melanoma is unknown however tobacco use and chronic irritation have some role. Clinically oral malignant melanoma can camouflage the other pigmented lesions of oral cavity. We are presenting 3 typical cases of oral malignant melanoma with an insight in literature.
