AbstractPyogenic granuloma is one of the common gingival epulis that occur as inflammatory hyperplasias seen in the oral cavity which appears as an overgrowth of tissue due to irritation, physical trauma or hormonal factors. The term pyogenic granuloma is misleading as it is not a true granuloma. The treatment being surgical excision, recurrence occurs in 16% of the lesions. This case report describes a recurrent pyogenic granuloma in a 12 year old boy of 8months duration.
