AbstractCardio-pulmonary resuscitation is a series of life-saving techniques, that improve the chances of survival and is used in many emergencies such as heart attack or near drowning, in which someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. The American Heart Association recommends starting CPR with hard and fast chest compressions. The newest development in CPR guidelines is a change in the basic life support sequence of steps from A-B-C (Airway, Breathing, chest compressions) to C-A-B ( chest compressions, Airway, Breathing) for adults. Also, Hands-only (compression-only) CPR is emphasized for untrained rescuers
