The present study was formulated to ascertain if any specific drug among the selected ones have a better efficacy in upper limb surgeries. Methodology: The present study employed a pool of 60 subjects who were randomly divided in two groups. The subjects were evaluated for operative and post operative parameters after administration of Ropivacaine and Bupivacaine respectively. Results: The study showed a shorter time for induction and regression of both motor and sensory block in Ropivacaine subjects, while Bupivacaine had a longer duration of action.
