Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and find the ideal concept of consumer protection
against forced withdrawals by leasing parties based on fair value. The approach method in
this study is empirical juridical, the data used are primary and secondary data. Data analysis
techniques through analytical descriptions. The results of the study found that consumer
protection against forced withdrawals by leasing parties was not fair, forced withdrawals of
debtors' vehicles often occurred in practice, causing negative impacts in the form of objections,
or resistance in the field. Consumer protection against forced withdrawals by leasing parties
based on the value of justice, by reconstructing Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer
Protection in Article 4 letter e.
