Variable Decelerations in Admission Test and Its Relation with Labour Outcome

Abstract

The Study was conducted to correlate the perinatal outcome with variable decelerations in patient with spontaneous onset of labour pain. A Retrospective observational study was done in 489 pregnant patients had come with spontaneous onset of labour in AJ Hospital Mangalore were included and excluding patients with admission test or CTG tracings in the course of labour. Parity index, type of variable deceleration, APGAR score and NICU admission was noted. Out of the 489 patients 36 had variable decelerations in which 12 were atypical and 24 were typical decelerations.
